Meet Our Staff

Dr. William F Pilcher, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Pilcher is a 1982 graduate of Colorado State University where he received his DVM degree. He is also a graduate from Weber State University with a BS in Zoology. Dr. Pilcher practiced in a small animal and exotic Practice in Las Vegas Nevada and an emergency clinic in Denver, Colorado for several years before moving to Idaho. He was owner and practice manager of the Conger Small Animal Hospital from 1986 to 2009. In 2009, after years of detailed planning, construction of a new veterinary hospital was completed at the same location and renamed "Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital". Dr. Pilcher takes an interest in ophthalmic, orthopedic, and critical care cases at the hospital and is known for his comedic humor.


Dr. Christine Ludwig, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Ludwig is a 1988 honors graduate of Texas A & M where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Ludwig enjoys going camping, listening to music, and absolutely loves working with our feline patients. She is keen on providing diagnostic radiographs that can help assist her with providing quality patient care. She also has two special kitties of her own, Josie and Henry, who she is very passionate about.

 
   

Dr. Cassie Hamilton, DVM

Veterinarian

We would like to welcome Dr. Cassie Hamilton to our hospital! A graduate of the University of Missouri, Dr. Hamilton started as a relief veterinarian and has worked all over the country. She most recently was apart of the San Diego Humane Society and has served as the Chief Veterinarian for the San Diego Department of Animal Services as well. She has organized many spay and neuter clinics and is a very proactive member of the community. Dr. Hamilton focuses on patient care and compassion with a dedication to client communication.

Dee Verti, LVT, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Dee is a graduate of Colorado State University. She is a Licensed and Certified Veterinary Technician. She worked as a veterinary technician for many years at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences as an Animal Specialist in ophthalmology and oncology as well as a research technician in Physiology and Microbiology. She has also worked for the State Board of Veterinary Medicine in Colorado. She has been with Conger Small Animal Hospital and Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital since 1987. Dee has worked with the English Setter Club of America collecting data for the breed to help with genetic research of dog breeds with genetic diseases or disorders. 


Niki, CVT, CVPM

Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, Certified Veterinary Technician

Niki joined our team in January of 2012. Niki then graduated with honors in 2012 with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Brown Mackie College in Boise. After having her daughters, she went back to school at Penn Foster and graduated the Veterinary Practice Managment Program. Later, she was awarded her CVPM and continues to find ways to grow within our hospital. Interacting with our clients, assisting with anesthesias, and helping with staff training and development are a few things she enjoys doing at our hospital. She shares her home with her dogs, Sammie and Hank, cat, Cheeto, Leopard Gecko and Guinea Pigs. In her free time she likes to travel, volunteer at her daughters school, and help lead her daughters Girl Scout Troop.


Nikki, MA

Bookkeeper, Veterinary Technician

Nikki joined our team in August of 2003. She went to school and is a certified medical assistant, but found out that her true passion was working with animals and interacting with our clients. Nikki shares her home with an English Setter, "Ramsee", Great Dane, "Eva", and 2 Miniature Schnauzers, "Tank" and "Sophie", as well as a cat "Wasee" and 6 horses! Outside of work Nikki enjoys camping, fishing, and riding horses with her husband, son, and daughter.


Gina, CVT

Certified Veteinary Technician

Gina grew up on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon. She trained horses to put herself through the College of Southern Idaho where she graduated with an AA degree in Equine Studies. She returned to the ranch and was employed at a mixed animal veterinary practice in Payette for 2 1/2 years before getting married and moving to Marsing. Gina joined our team in April of 2001. She lives on a small acreage with her husband, son, daughter, and numerous chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, cats and cows. She doesn't really have any "free" time, but enjoys training horses, doing ranch work, and watching her kids play sports, rodeo, and show their critters. 


Tina

Veterinary Technician

Tina joined our team in October 1989. She graduated from Boise State with an Associate of Health Sciences degree in Medical Records. Tina lives on her family's farm with her husband, many horses, dogs, and cats. She enjoys spending time with her son, daughters, and new grandson, and watching college football. Tina loves meeting new clients and helping them learn how to properly care for their pets.


Jennifer, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

After Jennifer graduated from WSU in 2011 (Go Cougs!), Jennifer moved back down to Southern Idaho to live closer to family. After watching veterinary technicians caring for her family pets, Jennifer was encouraged to do the same: help provide quality health care to animals. She pursued that path through BMC and is now working as a certified veterinary technician. She enjoys working with all of the various animals that come through our doors. Her favorite patients, of course, are her own pets: a Shepherd, 2 Husky mixes, and 2 cats.


Jamie

Veterinary Technician

Jamie joined our team in March of 2019 as a Veterinary Technician. She graduated with a degree in veterinary technology from Brown Mackie College in 2012. In her free time she enjoys camping, fishing, and spending her time with her three kids. Jamie looks forward to continuing her education and utilizing her skills to care for her patients. She always enjoys learning new things to help provide quality patient care.


Morgan

Veterinary Technician

Morgan re-joined our hospital as a technician in 2022 after short break and we are so excited to have her back! She attended Blue Mountain Community College where she worked towards her certificate for Veterinary Assisting. She resides in Malheur County, Oregon with her daughter and many horses, cows, and dogs. At home Morgan enjoys riding her horse and helping out on her family's ranch. When working she enjoys performing blood draws and processing blood panels in house. We are so glad to have you back!

Jenny

Veterinary Technician

Jenny joined our team in February of 2020 not only as a new veterinary technician, but also a new resident of Idaho. Jenny comes from San Jose, California with a background in veterinary medicine. She enjoys playing with her puppy, Fina, trying out new places to get a bite to eat, and computer games outside of work. She is most excited about meeting all of the new clients and their pets here at Indian Creek. She is most compassionate about getting to care and love on her medical patients.

Ilda

Veterinary Assistant

A Caldwell native, Ilda has worked in human healthcare for several years with knowledge in patient care, first aid, CPR, and neglect. She loves reading, adventuring outdoors on walks, and going to the movies. She recently went and saw the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie with a 5/5 star approval! When she's home, she loves to relax with her rescued senior pup!

Darci

Veterinary Assistant

Darci joined our team in the winter of 2022. She comes from a background of Animal Control and Veterinary knowledge both locally and out of state. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandson, riding horses, and refinishing wood furniture and projects. When asked what she is looking forward to learning here at our hospital she couldn't just pick one thing! She is looking forward to learning as much as she can and is eager to do so. 

Kirsten

Veterinary Assistant

As a recent veterinary assistant graduate from Pima Medical Institute, Kirsten is eager to put her skills to work here at Indian Creek. In her spare time she enjoys catching up on the latest new shows on Netflix, spending time with her family, and being in the great outdoors of the beautiful Treasure Valley. Kirsten is very excited to start her career in veterinary medicine and is working towards completing her education in veterinary technology to become a CVT.

Briana

Veterinary Assistant

Briana joined our team the end of 2023 as our new veterinary assistant. She is a recent graduate from Blue Mountain Community College with a certificate of veterinary assisting. Previously she volunteered for Pioneer Humane Society while away for college. In her spare time Briana enjoys spending time with her family, going shopping, and traveling. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in veterinary medicine and helping aid our patients and clients.
